Punch Zoom & Popup
Add punch zoom and popup animation.
Make a detail easier to notice or give a title a quick entrance. The Punch Zoom and Popup effects add focused movement to creator videos without building the animation from scratch.

Point viewers towards the useful detail
A punch zoom briefly brings part of a clip closer. Use it to emphasise an expression in a reaction video, a small control in a tutorial or a detail in a product demonstration. Drag the zoom target in the preview to choose the point that the movement should focus on.
Adjust the strength and use the effect preview to judge the result. The zoom works within the selected video area, so separate captions and facecam elements can keep their own positions.
Set the moment and length of the zoom
Drop Punch Zoom at the moment you want it on a video clip. A visible zoom bar in the timeline shows its position and duration. Move the bar to change the start, or drag its edges to refine how long the effect lasts.
That makes it easier to line the emphasis up with a spoken word or a change in the action. A clip can contain several zooms as long as they have room and do not overlap. You can remove a zoom when a simple cut tells the story more clearly.
Give titles and stickers a small entrance
Popup grows an element from its centre, briefly overshoots and settles into place. Apply it to text, shapes, images or video when an item should arrive with a little energy. Set the effect duration in the properties panel; short clips automatically keep the animation within their available time.
A short label, an arrow or an emoji can benefit from the same treatment. Both effects offer an optional sound selection, so a pop or whoosh can accompany the movement when it suits the edit.
A CLOSER LOOK
Good to know.
Will a punch zoom move my separate captions?
No. It zooms the selected video area. Captions or a facecam placed as separate elements keep their own layout.
Can I animate an emoji sticker with Popup?
Yes. A sticker is an image element, and Popup can animate its entrance just like another image, title or shape.
